We are currently recruiting for a Full Time Marketing Executive to join our growing team here at Kilkea Castle.

Kilkea Castle Hotel is a 140 bedroom resort set on 180 acres of landscape, gardens and ancient woodland. Job Description:    

The successful candidate will play a central role in showcasing Kilkea Castle across digital and traditional channels. They will be responsible for driving brand visibility, managing content, and supporting revenue-generating initiatives. They will work independently as well as part of a team, take initiative, and bring creativity to everything they do.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute content for digital platforms including the website, social media, and email newsletters
  • Manage the day-to-day running of Kilkea Castle’s social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok), including calendar creation, post scheduling, caption writing, and engagement
  • Support paid advertising campaigns in collaboration with media partners (PPC, Meta, display)
  • Liaise with photographers, videographers, and graphic designers to create on-brand visual content
  • Update and maintain the website, ensuring SEO best practices and timely promotion of offers and events
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to promote weddings, group stays, golf events, and seasonal packages
  • Assist with influencer relations, media visits, and partnership opportunities
  • Monitor marketing performance using tools like Google Analytics, Meta Insights, and Mailchimp, reporting key metrics to the Director of Sales
  • Ensure consistency across all marketing touchpoints in line with Kilkea Castle’s premium positioning

Skills/Requirements

  • Minimum 12-18 months experience in a similar marketing role within the hospitality sector
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing and content creation
  • Confident using platforms such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Meta Business Suite, WordPress, and Mailchimp
  • Excellent writing and communication skills — with an eye for tone, detail, and storytelling
  • Highly organised, self-motivated, and capable of working with minimal supervision
  • A team player who collaborates across departments while owning marketing output
  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or similar field (desirable)
  • Minimum 12 months valid work permit required
