Food & Beverage Supervisor

We are currently recruiting for a Full-Time Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our growing team here at Kilkea Castle.

Job Description:    

As a Food & Beverage Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations of the hotel’s dining outlets, ensuring guests receive high standards of service

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support F&B staff during service, ensuring high standards of professionalism, efficiency, and guest care
  • In the absence of the Manager, to ensure the team are supported and organised.
  • Assist in the setup and breakdown of service areas for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and events.
  • Resolve any issues that may arise, such as customer complaints or internal issues with the team such as sick calls
  • Motivate and encourage the team
  • Ability to assist the Manager in all aspects of the workload when needed
  • To train all new and existing staff members on company policies, procedures, service standards and health and safety regulations
  • Ensure all staff are complaint with Health and Safety regulations, including food safety standards, cleanliness, and sanitisation
  • Assist in preparing shift reports and communicating key updates to management.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth coordination and timely service.

Skills/Requirements

  • Previous experience in a supervisory role within a food & beverage setting, ideally in a hotel, resort, or golf club.
  • Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Good understanding of food and beverage service standards.
  • Familiarity with POS systems and reservation platforms.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Minimum 12 months’ work permit required.
