We are currently recruiting for Food & Beverage Assistants to join our growing team here at Kilkea Castle - Full Time and Part-time positions available.

Key Responsibilities will include:

• Check station assigned, prior to opening, for cleanliness of tables and chairs, proper setup of salt and pepper, clean cutlery and glassware.
• Have necessary equipment to work with: tray, pen, service cloth etc.
• Do all necessary opening and closing preparation, as per the operating schedule.
• Be aware of daily specials, soups, drinks.
• Be knowledgeable of all menu items, their garnish, contents and preparation methods.
• Be prepared to answer any guest questions about the menu in a direct, concise way.
• Remain on your station, unless serving a guest.
• No voids without supervisor's approval

What will I be doing?

• Customer focus is key
• You must be able to work on own initiative to complete tasks up to our standard procedures
• You will be responsible for the setup of assigned tables, retrieving and serving alcoholic, non-alcoholic beverages and food orders to guest tables
• Maintaining cleanliness and condition of the work areas and equipment
• Be able to demonstrate an efficient and courteous approach to guests, be great a communicator and have a friendly manner.

Experience in a similar role is preferable but not essential as full training will be provided.
